Service in the U.S. Navy

Tony joined the Navy after high school in Sioux City, Iowa, and served as a Fire Controlman (FC2). In 1991 he began working on the Navy's military computer systems, which is where he learned networking and where his IT career started.

A Nebraska IT career

After the Navy, Tony held network engineering and leadership roles at companies including MCI/Worldcom, West Corporation and DTN. He earned Cisco CCIE #7112 in March 2001, and Cisco granted him CCIE Emeritus status in 2022.

A veteran-owned Nebraska business

Cambium Data opened in Omaha in June 2009, and its first customer was in Lincoln, so the company has served both Nebraska cities from the start. It won the Cisco SMB Partner of the Year award in 2010 and is a Cisco Premier Partner today. Read more on the Cambium Data about page.
